Two months prior God spoke to me to walk away from my previous job and spend more time with my wife. I spent weeks applying on line for jobs I am well qualified for; however, due to a previous felony, I was not receiving even the opportunity to interview with companies. The blessings during this time of unemployment was not only the quality time I spent with my wife, but more importantly the time I spent learning in the presence of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ. We learned in EAM church to send the Holy Spirit for what is rightfully ours through Jesus. My wife and I prayed; we sent the Holy Spirit to bring me a job with a career opportunity. With our church members also in agreement and within 1-2 weeks of us praying, I was out riding my bicycle when I saw an employee of a company that had been recommended to me a month prior.
I approached and spoke with the gentleman and he took my name and number to give to the hiring manager who was also his friend. The company called me three days later and scheduled an interview for the following Monday. Friday night before the interview, while in prayer group, Jesus showed me a vision. In the vision Jesus led me into the interview room and told me that He would be with me. During the interview, I had perfect peace because I knew Jesus was there. The interviewer led me into a separate room where we talked for a bit, then next thing I knew, I was filling out a W-9 and other paperwork and he told me I stated training the very next day. He didn’t even have me complete a job application! I did tell him that I have a felony but that I have completed all of the requirements and have all of my paperwork showing this. He didn’t ask me a single question more about it. The man who interviewed me is named Christian. I love God’s sense of humor and constant confirmation and assurance; always showing us that He is our ALL.
I praise Jesus every day for this job and for the many advancement opportunities.
